A TEAM.

This is going to be a very emotional post, well at least to me.

Dear girls,

We've exactly 25 days before the first day we head out for the big day. I don't know how far you all understand by the definition of "big day" is but for me, I've been there. Not alone. I was with the other girls, Dyania, Anabelle, Miera, Saliha, Yati, Siti and Farhana. These are the girls will still be playing for the upcoming POL-ITE.

I'm pretty sure those who have played last year knew how badly we were trashed. But who are we to blame but ourselves right but we can also blame our teammate. Why? Because a team is like a relationship. Just read this theory and get it into your head,

"When you fight with your boyf or when your boyf does something wrong, you get angry and pissed and agitated and most distinct feeling you feel inside is DISAPPOINTMENT"

You girls get where I'm going from here? When you do a mistake on an important game, your teammates will not be angry at you but even worst, they'll be disappointed.

And our girls favorite line, "it takes two hand two clap" am I right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

WE'VE 14 PLAYERS. 6 ON A FIELD EACH TIME.

WINGER. LINK. CENTRE. CENTRE. LINK. WINGER.

Which position you play, determines how well you'll be training during this period of holiday till the day comes. Getting into the position you want is individual play but when you're on the field with 5 other friends, YOU GIRLS PLAY AS A TEAM AND NOT AS INDIVIDUAL ANYMORE. You don't play to get praise from coach or play to just know that you score or play just for fame or whatever reason you girls may think of because that is SELFISH. SELFISH. SELFISH.

So please, set your priority now. What is important to you now? Ask yourself. This is not about being the best player but being the BEST TEAM. ITE WILL NOT GET TRASHED AND BE WALKED ALL OVER FOR THIS YEAR POL-ITE. And I can't make my previous statement come through if I'm all alone, am I right?

This all comes down to coming down for training and stop with all the bullshit I'm getting. Because whatever excuses you girls give me, I'VE USED! Seriously, if you're just plain lazy to come for training, just say it. Why be scared? LEARN TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS!

What makes you girls think that only you girls have to give up your social life? Don't talk about me having to give up so much things but lets look at how much effort coach has put in for us. The time effort she make to come down for to coach us after work. Don't you think she deserves to be rewarded? Don't you? Or you think its only YOU who deserves to be rewarded?

You girls want so much. The jersey, the shorts, the socks, the transportation. Me and Dyania did the best we could for you girls. Meeting and talking to Mr Jerry every now and than so just to make you girls feel like a team? SO IS IT JUST HARD FOR YOU GIRLS TO COME DOWN FOR TRAINING THRICE A WEEK? IS IT SO TOUGH?

Where are we going from here? Where? The only way to improve our standard is to come for training. Thats all I've got to say. Think about it.

P.S. I'm not here to say how good of a player I am because I make mistake on the field to and I learn from it, but if you think you can't accept others doing mistake and just think of rewarding yourselves and you can't respect your leaders because you think you can do better than working in a team is not your forte.

Love,
Nana Syafiqa
